PRESERVATION & AWARENESS — BEFORE TREATMENT

The Pink Crown Project believes women should know their options before breast cancer treatment begins. We provide education, resources, and professional guidance surrounding hair and scalp preservation, including cold capping and scalp cooling, guidance to financial support for Cold capping, gentle hair-care techniques, scalp health, and supportive topical products. Our goal is to help women understand how treatment may affect their hair and scalp, introduce options that may help minimize or manage those changes, and provide the knowledge and resources needed to make informed decisions before treatment begins.

SUPPORT & CARE — DURING TREATMENT

Throughout breast cancer treatment, the Pink Crown Project provides compassionate, hands-on services designed around each woman’s changing hair, scalp, aesthetic, and emotional needs. Support may include ongoing scalp and hair care, professional shampooing and styling during surgical recovery, hair-loss transition support, Empowerment Shaves, wig guidance, fittings and styling, and alternative hair solutions. Whether a woman chooses to preserve her hair as long as possible, transition gradually through hair loss, wear a wig, or decide when and how she is ready to remove her hair, we believe that choice should remain hers. Our role is to provide a safe, supportive environment where she has access to professional care, practical resources, and compassionate support throughout treatment.

RECOVERY & REGROWTH — AFTER TREATMENT

Our care continues after treatment as women begin navigating the unique process of post-treatment hair and scalp recovery. Through Post-Chemo Scalp Treatments, individualized regrowth education, supportive take-home products, first trims, shaping and styling, we help women care for their scalp and new hair as it changes in texture, density, length, and growth pattern. When desired and appropriate, we can also explore toppers, wigs, and hair extensions to provide additional length, fullness, or coverage during the regrowth process. From the first signs of new growth to the first haircut and beyond, the Pink Crown Project is there to provide professional guidance, encouragement, and continued care as women move into this next stage of their breast cancer journey.
